Issues
Lower Taxes
Smaller Government
Fiscal Responsibility
Increasing Local Aid
Tax Credits and Incentives for Businesses
Illegal Immigration Reform
TAXES:
We are heavily overtaxed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. We
would all benefit from a rollback of taxes. From income tax, to
sales, to property tax, I believe that rolling back taxes across the
board will increase business development and result in job growth.
JOBS: I want to create a friendlier environment for
entrepreneurs and the general business sector. Lowering taxes on
small businesses and reducing the barriers people face when starting
businesses in Massachusetts will result in the creation of good jobs
in the private sector which have long been an important part of the
Massachusetts' economy.
ENERGY AND ENVIRONMENT: It is our responsibility as
Massachusetts residents and Americans to preserve our environment.
America has been blessed with vast natural resources and beautiful
landscapes. We need to both preserve and conserve our resources and
assets for future generations by developing prudent environmental
and energy policies. These policies should work towards reducing
pollution and achieving energy independence by developing wind,
solar, and natural gas energy, as well as the smart utilization of
our own oil reserves.

Illegal Immigration Reform: Massachusetts is facing an
economic crisis and we have to start dealing with this problem by
eliminating wasteful spending. The State of Massachusetts spent 35
million dollars last year of taxpayer's money to provide healthcare
to illegal immigrants. I will support legislation like the
immigration reform bill that came before the Senate this past
summer. This bill would have created checks and safeguards to ensure
that those receiving taxpayer benefits were legal citizens. Unlike
my opponent, I don't support in-state tuition for illegal immigrants
and will work against this type of legislation. Illegal Immigration
reform is something that can be solved and will save the taxpayers
tens of million of dollars per year.
